The previous version of this TV, the Samsung QN90A QLED, is also cheaper and similar overall, but as it's an older model, it's becoming harder to find. It's also an excellent TV for streaming sports because it has a wide viewing angle that makes it ideal for watching the game with other people as the image remains consistent from the sides, and it has excellent motion handling that makes players and balls look smooth. If you stream your favorite content the Tizen OS platform is user-friendly and you have access to all your favorite streaming services. While it doesn't have the perfect blacks of an OLED, it still has a high native contrast ratio, and its local dimming feature is great. It also uses quantum dot technology to display a wide range of colors in HDR for a satisfying HDR experience. It's different from the LG C2 OLED because it doesn't have an OLED panel, and instead, it has an LED panel with Mini LED backlighting, allowing it to get very bright, making highlights pop, but most scenes are over-brightened in HDR. If you don't want to spend a ton on an OLED, there are a few high-end LED TVs like the Samsung QN90B QLED that you can get for a bit less. If you often watch HDR content, the Sony A90J OLED is another premium OLED that gets brighter in HDR, so highlights pop more, so it's the better choice for that, but the C2 is more well-rounded overall and costs less. Its built-in webOS smart system is also easy to use if you stream your favorite shows and movies. It's an excellent TV for watching various content because it doesn't have any issues upscaling lower-resolution content, from DVDs to native 4k content. ![]() Even in well-lit rooms, it gets bright enough to fight glare in most environments, and the reflection handling is incredible. It means it looks fantastic in dark rooms, whether you're watching movies or gaming. OLEDs like this one are unique because they don't have a backlight and instead can individually turn off pixels, resulting in a near-infinite contrast ratio and no blooming around bright objects. It's a premium TV that delivers stunning picture quality, especially in dark rooms, and it's a well-rounded display that's excellent for a variety of uses.
